HAMLET OF HALKIRK - WATER INFRASTRUCTURE UPDATE

The utility work in the Hamlet of Halkirk is progressing as planned. The sewer line installation on Alberta Avenue and along RR160 has been completed.

The next stage of work will focus on completing the waterline along Alberta Avenue. So far, the waterline has been directionally drilled from RR160 to Howard Street. Crews will now begin drilling from Main Street to Howard Street to compete the water connection.

Once the waterline is installed, it will undergo pressure testing and commissioning. After that, the road surface on Alberta Avenue will be repaired and restored.

Following this, work will shift to Railway Avenue, where crews will complete the water and sewer upgrades from Main Street to the reservoir.
